I am in the process of building a website. Unlike my other sites I wan’t to use a cms this time. In your opinion what do you think is the best cms. I have tried joomla and drupal and wordpress. Joomla seemed sluggish and the admin panel wasn’t very good. Drupal worked great until I tried to convert my html theme to it. WordPress worked great! Our club wants to build a website with a number of features:
- Blog (I personally like WordPress)
- Forum (e.g., Simple Machines Forum)
- Wiki (I like MediaWiki)
- Calendar of events
- Common access control for members across all of the above
Are there any software packages or hosting services — free or otherwise — that provide all these features in a reasonably easy to administer and customize fashion? (I tried Ning but it’s too kludgy and constrained.)

Before I start, I just have to say – this is for a hamster haha
My cousin is a name nerd like me so she takes naming her pets very seriously.
She’s getting 2 male dwarf hamsters ( http://nophieymp.files.wordpress.com/200… ) very soon, and she’s naming one of them CHARLES BARTHOLOMEW (nickname CHUCK) after Charles Bartholomew “Chuck” Bass from Gossip Girl.
She doesn’t know what to name the second one though.
