I’m looking for a programmer that can develop a video subscription website, preferably using some sort of pre-developed content management system (Joomla, Drupal, etc…). This website will feature video previews and enable visitors to subscribe to see the full videos (not an adult website).

The design for the website has already been created. You’ll receive a PSD file from which you can build the template for the site.

Specific website requirements:
– Slideshow on the home page featuring several videos with titles and captions. When a user clicks on an item, they’re taken to the content page where that video resides. (See: http://tools.gavick.com/demo/photoslide-gk3)
– A subscription page with several form fields that you’ll be provided with. The page will need to enable us to charge credit cards (through PayPal or some other solution you can recommend).
– A members-only area for subscribers which will include a list of video categories.
– A forum developed using a pre-developed forum script and customized to fit the site design. The forum will be view-able by the public, but only paid subscribers will be able to post.
– Several pages with static content (e.g. “About Us”) You’ll be provided with the content.

Preferred features:
– An admin panel where administrators can upload and post new videos and content.
– Comments enabled on the videos for subscribers.

General requirements:
– Cross-browser-compatible XHTML and CSS.
– Makes use of a pre-developed content management system for easy changes and quick development.
– Modular and expandable – we will be adding updates and features down the line. For now, though, it should remain simple.
– Linux / PHP / mySQL

Deadline for project completion (including changes) is September 26th. A working version must be ready by September 20th so we can go through with any changes (if needed).
